This is good news about Windows 8 except I need a touchscreen monitor. Windows also has excellent backwards compatibility. What’s even better news is that Ubuntu is ready for prime-time. Ubuntu is a distribution of the Linux operating system that’s will be waiting for me when my hardware becomes inferior. Dell computers become obsolete before they wear out. I still need Windows 7/8 for the TV-Tuner and my old Dell printer. Look forward to testing and using Windows 8 beta but might not get the full UI affect without a touchscreen monitor.
