Microsoft has planned to launch Office 2010 RTM on May 12. The next iteration of Office system hasn’t RTM’d yet and the Release Candidate interim build is being tested by small group of testers worldwide.

The information revealed on Microsoft Business Productivity website. The President of the Microsoft Business Division, will announce the launch of Office 2010 and SharePoint 2010 on May 12, 2010 at 11 a.m. EST. The live Microsoft keynote focuses on the next wave of productivity that delivers:

  • End user productivity across the PC, phone and browser
  • IT choice and flexibility
  • A platform for developers to build innovative solutions

Microsoft is planned to sign-off Office 2010 and SharePoint 2010 by the end of April, however the availability of final version of product to Early Adopters, MSDN and TechNet subscribers didn’t reveal yet. But as Microsoft does, MSDN and TechNet Subscribers may get final bits by end of April or very early in May.
