Internet Explorer 10

Today Microsoft has announced that IE9 RC has been downloaded 2 million times till now and momentum still continues. A week ago, feature complete Internet Explorer 9 RC was made available for everyone on February 10, 2011.

Microsoft is ready turn on the automatic upgrade from Beta to RC this month. However all the latest statistics marked just before the RC bits hit Windows Update.

IE9 Beta users will be prompted to download RC via Windows Update this month. However, even as these prompts are starting to kick into gear, we have had two million user-initiated downloads of IE9 RC.

Internet Explorer 9 RC comes with significant improvements including Tracking Protection, Improved Pinned Sites, ActiveX Filtering and new Paste and Navigate feature. You can read: What’s new in Internet Explorer 9 Release Candidate (RC).

Earlier Microsoft reported that IE9 Beta hit 23 million downloads last month since its debut. And as stats say IE9 RC is on the track and may break all records very soon.
