    Hello Ramesh,
Yesterday i commented on how to improve windows valley and make it simplified for the users to use.
Now i would like to comment on windows 7

    firstly its good points-
-First and foremost the PERFORMANCE has been improved
-The new taskbar is improved specially in the start menu and system tray. The new Taskbar replaces the old small icons and text labels for running apps with larger, unlabeled icons and the new jumplists feature is also very good and not to forget the latest feature from microsoft that is aero peek-which gives you access to the applications and documents reside on the desktop.
-Compared to the Taskbar and the System Tray, Explorer hasn’t changed much in Windows 7. However, its left pane does sport two new ways to get at your files: Libraries and HomeGroups.
-The user account control and the security has been improved to a large extent and it has made the pc more secure from online and virus threats.
-Even there is a considerable change in backup and restore center which has made the users to backup specific files like “Music or documents”.It has made the people easier to backup the files that they only need instead of unnecssary files
-The device management system has also been improved as compared to vista. Now the device manager gives access to many new hardwares. The device manager has also been integrated into the taskbar, whenever we plugin a new hardware it shows a jumplist with various commands.
-Windows 7 is the first version of the OS to offer built-in multitouch support.Touch support has made the users of touch-capable pc’s even more simplified.
-And my last point not to forget the windows aero in windows 7 home premium and above versions it is really very much pleasing.Windows media players support to many new formats in windows 7 has also won may hearts including mine.

And now for the bad points-
-Homegroups are really very much dissapointing.I did not like the way in which we can share our files in windows 7.They should have introduced a password system.
-Update system is also not very good.We have to reboot our computer after every update and it really consumes a lot of time,Wasting people’s time.
-And the biggest disadvantage i felt is we cannot upgrade from xp to windows 7.We have to install all the applications once again making it really cumbersome.
-And as my friend stated above the clippboard function-It is really dissapointing we lose a lot of text and other important information while doing work. The startmenu should also been simplified not with all unnecessary applications. It would be great if you people could do some thing to improve the start menu.
-It has also become very challenging to switch applications in the taskbar.

I have been using xp from many days and when i used windows 7 for the first time i felt it a bit difficult to use.It was not as simplified as i thought. But after using it for some days in my friends laptop i felt comfortable with it.
The points i stated above i felt they ought to be improved and i believe windows valley team will surely come up with some solutions to solve at least some of them.
But overall i felt windows 7 is really good especially its improved aero interface.
I would be glad to have my own copy of windows 7 this christmas as it would also help to improve my business.

Waiting for the winner to be announced and merry christmas to one and all
    Regards
    shashank

    Hi Ramesh!

    Congratulations for this exciteing giveaway!
And my best wishes for a happy wonderful Christmas and New Year!

The news reach me here in Sweden only a few minutes ago of this contest.
Hope by all my faith and with big expectation for this chanse.
The reason is that I can’t afford to bay a copy of Windows 7 in this moment.
Would be a remarkable experience with much joy!

On your request for opinions regarding Windows 7 I’d enjoy giveing my review as following:
My experience level = Been useing XP since 2004, Vista during the past years and tryed out W7 during some houndred hours.
First of all there are a couple of simple feature’s which should be improved.
Something that always been a serious problem in XP, Vista and now W7 is the Clippboard function and feature.
It should have longer memory for items who has been copied, more than only the last copied item.
I can imagine that it is not only myself who has lost alot of text and other importent thing’s during work.
Please change this if it is possible. I know it exist other software for this as Clippboard manager’s but it should be included in the Os.
The second thing I can think of is the new look of the Startmenu in Windows, together in how to reach the different important areas in the computer, like the functions for program and installed software or other areas of administration management.
Please make the “pointers” on the Startmenu more easier to understand. My own experience from my first hours with Vista was almost as walking around inside a labyrinth and I can recognise that feeling a bit also in this new OS.
With clear easy speak, without makeing shortcut’s it’s hard to work effective.
Hope someone take this under consideration as I heard many people discussed it in this way around my friends.

    The Good is:
It’s a wonderful new invention with many nice graphical cool attractive things for the eye.
There is some feature’s which I believe many with me enjoy to use, for example the peek function, the snap, the shake.
Other which I enjoy to use very much are the Jump list together with the thumbnail preview which is a really good help.
Also the search feature inside Explorer is a wonderful tool which speeding up the work when looking for files.
Enhanced improved security level or much better functionality for network issues – who would say no thanks for that.
From my point of view I’m more than pleased – For those who wana read more, please go ahead and watch it out.

Wish everyone good luck in this contest and a wonderful Merry Christmas for all!!!

Still have my fingers crossed at winning a copy. I decided if I win I would give it to my son, he has 98 currently and would rather see him have it than me. It would make his Christmas a great one. This is simply wonderful that anyone would even give away a free OS like this so even if I don’t win, thank you and happy holidays!
