How To:

1. Run Command Prompt as Administrator (Elevated Command Prompt) and execute the following command:

slmgr -cpky or

slmgr /cpky

2. Wait for confirmation dialog box and restart PC to take effect. It helps genuine Windows user to secure Windows License.

    Mines doesnt work, it says slmgr is not recognised as an external or internal command, operable program or batch file. HELP

      Turn back on your Software Protection…It is located in Services, open task manager if you have windows 7 go to services tab you’ll see at the far right bottom corner is another button named services hit it now find the Software Protection service start it up and also set it to (Automatic) Delayed Start. It is the safest option for that service. Hope that helps
