Microsoft has started talking about the first major update (Service Pack) of Windows 7. But today, An early interim build of its Service Pack 1 has been leaked out on Torrents and file sharing websites.

The build string is 6.1.7601.16537.amd64fre.win7.100327-0053 which was compiled on March 27th, 2010. According to NeoWin, the build is quick to install but it’s not clear whether it includes the promised USB 3.0 support or enhanced Bluetooth and Wi-Fi stacks.

It is advised to avoid such builds, because it may contain harmful viruses.

Windows 7 is the fastest selling operating system in history. Since the official launch, 90 million copies of Windows 7 have been sold out to date and is still getting greater response from all kind of users.

Generally business organizations wait for at least first major update before adopting or migrating to new operating system. But due to phenomenal success, Windows 7 RTM has been the first choice IT professionals and business organizations.

    I don’t really know if I should get the SP1, what advantages does it have? Do you think I should get it?

      Its a leaked one, you can get SP1 Beta by the end of June, when Microsoft will announce first public beta of Windows 7 SP1. Microsoft didn’t reveal so much details about Windows 7 SP1, so if you want to know more about SP1, Visit here – Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1) would be a Minor Upgrade
