Earlier this week, Office 2010 Beta was made available to MSDN and TechNet Subscribers and without wasting the time, Microsoft has done same for general public. Office 2010 public beta is available now at Microsoft Download Center.

What you need to know before take a test drive:

Protect your PC and data. Be sure to back up your data and please don’t test Office Professional Plus 2010 Beta on your primary home or business PC.

Uninstall any earlier versions of Microsoft Office. It is recommend that previous versions of  Microsoft Office be removed from your test machine before installing Office Professional Plus 2010 Beta.

Keep Automatic Updates Turn On. Be sure to turn on automatic updates in Windows Update in case Microsoft publish updates for the Office Professional Plus 2010 Beta.
