Why is Microsoft so popular among their competitors? The answer is so simple my words, because they observe and listen to their consumers. And something similar is going to happen with Windows Phone 7. Microsoft is preparing to few updates that add some new features and improve your experience with Windows Phone 7.
Here’s a peek at some of what’s ahead for Windows Phone 7 in 2011:
Copy and paste
We have been discussing it since Windows Phone 7 launch but now wait is over. Soon you’ll be able to copy text from emails, text messages, web pages, and Office Mobile documents, and paste it anywhere you can type.
The new feature adds to the list of time-saving shortcuts already built into Windows Phone, like the ability to tap an address on a webpage to map it.
Faster apps and games
Nobody likes to wait. Reason being Microsoft has whittled down the time it takes for apps and games to start up and resume.
Better Marketplace search
Microsoft has streamlined Marketplace search to make it easier to find specific apps, games, or music. Press the Search button in the apps or games section of Marketplace and you’ll see only apps or games in the results.
Press Search in the music section of Marketplace to search just the music catalog.
When will Microsoft rollout Windows Phone 7 Updates?
Rumors in wild that Windows Phone 7 Updates may available in January but its not confirmed so far. By the way Windows phone is designed to let you know about updates automatically via a pop-up message (unless you’ve turned this option off). For more details, see How do I update my phone software?
