Windows Aero has been revamped by adding new features like Aero Shake in Windows 7. Aero Shake enables to click a pane and give mouse a shake and every open window except that one instantly disappears. Jiggle again—and all windows are back.

It’s a pretty cool feature that we can see some practical use for it. It needs to work on the sensitivity and by any chance, users don’t like it or their PC unable to handle Aero Shake transition effects or they want to disable it. Here is simple and straight way to do it. aero-shake

How To:

1. Run Registry Editor and go to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop

2. Change or modify data of a String(REG_SZ) value called WindowArrangementActive to 0 to disable or 1 to enable it

3. Restart or logoff your PC to take effect.

  • Windows 7 Ultimate
  • Windows 7 Enterprise
